Strength Group Fitness Classes in the Cuyuna Lakes Area

Strength training classes in Crosby, MN to help you stay active and feel strong—whether you are local or visiting the area. Run all year long, these are great rain day or snow day options when getting outside isn’t an option.

Blending handweights, body weight exercises and TRX straps (aka suspension training), classes are easily tailored to each individuals needs and abilities. All abilities and fitness levels welcome. Special focus given to active older women working to counter menopause and other health concerns.

Bring comfortable clothing and clean shoes to change into once you have entered the studio.

RLW will provide all props needed for class, but you are welcome to bring your own mat and other props.

    Strength Instructor: Autumn

    Music-Driven strength class in a fun atmosphere. Each song features a routine to keep an engaging and effective workout. Serious burn and fire playlist to tone your muscles!

  • Mondays and Thursdays at 9am

    Instructor: Bailey

    Handweight class geared towards beginners and active older adults. Low impact exercises geared at overall body strength, focus on core/low back strength and maintain or improve balance.

  • Every other Monday evening at 5pm

    Instructed by Bailey

    TRX or Suspension Training is a fun and new way to challenge your strength! Using body weight, angles and time under tension (the amount of time your muscles work), get a complete body workout to build up functional strength and range of motion. Stations are timed to allow participants to work at their pace and ability. The instructor is free to move about the room to teach, guide and ensure safety while participants are working.  Upbeat and casual, all fitness levels are welcome! 

  • Wednesday evenings at 5pm

    Instructed by Bailey

    In this casual class, find yourself participating in a 15-station circuit that blends TRX straps and handweight exercises to bring you a full body workout. Stations are timed to allow participants to work at their pace and ability. The instructor is free to move about the room to teach, guide and ensure safety while participants are working. All levels are welcome to attend.
