Qigong is a mindfulness practice that puts you back in charge of your own healing. It helps to balance energy throughout the entire body and remove blockages through slow simple movements, breathwork, visualization and meditation.

“Qi” means energy, and “gong” means cultivate. “Qigong” is the practice of cultivating energy.

Often described as “meditation in motion,” Tai Chi offers gentle and intentional movement that can improve breathing, balance, flexibility, strength and overall well-being. This class is great for active older adults and can easily be modified to ensure participants can work at their comfort level.

TRX is a full-body strength workout utilizing a person's own body weight instead of relying on machines or dumbbells. Although this is whole-body suspension training, you use your core for all 45-50 minutes of the class building your core, strength, balance, agility and power.

If you are looking for a quick trick to shed some excess belly fat, TRX could be a good place to start. Unlike almost any other training system available, TRX Suspension Training challenges your entire body in all planes of motion creating a huge metabolic effect and helps you build lean, toned muscle.

As challenging as it is, TRX can also be modified for people who are just starting out. You can work with a trainer first to learn proper form and make sure you're up to even the less intense moves.

An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to create heat. Objects within the sauna are heated versus the air. Since it doesn’t generate steam or much humidity, it provides a more comfortable environment for those who have a lower tolerance for heat and humidity. Clients often incorporate chromotherapy (the use of colored light) and/or aromatherapy (the use of essential oils) to enhance their infrared sauna experience.
